Oracle 11g Installation on Windows 7 | MacLochlainns Weblog
I finally got around to installing Oracle 11g on Windows 7 Professional Edition, 64-bit. The only catch was that the Oracle 11g (11.1.0.7) installer validates only against Windows 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 or 6.0. Windows 7 is actually Windows Code Base 6.1, as seen in this screen shot after successful installation:

Display Google Talk Presence
If you wanted to post your Google Talk ID on a site and display an icon that shows your status, it’s quite easy. Google offers a chatback feature for anonymous conversations with the visitors of a site and this feature has been recently updated with more ways to display the badge.To get your presence icon, go to the badge generation page, select “Hyperlink and status icon (no frame)” from the list of styles, click on “Update badge” and copy the code in a text editor. You should identify a URL that looks like this (the bold part could be removed to simplify the address):

This image could be displayed next to your Google Talk username to show whether you are available for chat. Obviously, if you like the chatback feature, you could add the entire code generated by Google.
Oracle ERP 手動 Post Clone 應注意的事項
The attached file is unpublished.
It’s a troubleshooting procedure to make your web login correctly.
But,I recommend to apply the patches of rapidclone instead.
Anyway,I provide the troubleshooting steps to you.

————-手動 Post Clone 應注意的事項—————-
After adcfgclone.pl appsTier,you will see many error occurred.
1.Modify the XML file of AP Tier($APPL_TOP/admin/o1_o2-hgh.xml)
From o1-hgh to o2-hgh
2.Prepared the correct setting of tnsnames.ora and listener.ora in $8.0.6 ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
3.Run adautocfg.sh
4.Moniter the timestamp of tnsnames.ora and listener.ora,if those 2 files have been modified by adautocfg.
Rename them by the correct tnsnames.ora and listener.ora
5.After autoconfig.sh is finished,you will see adgendbc.sh failed.
Modify the setting of adgendbc.sh,you will see incorrect hostname (o1-hgh) in this file.
Correct it and run again.
Command: adgendbc.sh apps xxxxxxx
6.Check the file under $FND_TOP/secure,the content of dbc file should be correct.
以上在 Target Site 手動 POST Clone 需要改的,但缺點是,每次做 AutoConfig 又會亂掉
最好還是 Pre-Clone 就完成, Post-Clone 自動做
